Loving for Life, 19th February 2016

Five engaged couples took part in this year's Loving for Life course, run by Dereham & District Mothers' Union at Church House in Dereham. The couples, who are all getting married in the Dereham team of churches, spent the day discussing their attitudes to family, money, conflicts, and other aspects of married life.

The course was presented by Sheila Hamner along with our Curate, Dominique Turnham, and Dominique's husband Ed. Members of the Mothers' Union provided an excellent lunch. The discussion was aided by videos from The Marriage Course.

Praise from this year's participants:

The course helped us to find out how committed we both are to each other and a life-long marriage... Brilliant, fun and informative.

Family baggage was an area we hadn't really considered discussing. The day reconfirmed the reasons we are getting married. It was a really helpful day with plenty of food for thought. Thank you for the fantastic hospitality demonstrated by everyone. It is certainly a session I would recommend!

We weren't sure what to expect from the day but found it very helpful and entertaining! Thank you!
